I always tell myself, "I am not trying to be their cool Friend" Listening to students is ok, and even important. But always keeping it professional.

It is a must to keep the classroom under full control. Students do get rowdy, and as educators we must know how to reel them back in.

I TRY TO MAKE CLASS AS INTERESTING AS POSSIBLE I WANT IT TO BE FUN. BUT I ALSO WANT STRUCTURE AND RESPECT IN MY CLASS. IF THEY CROSS THE LINE BEING TO LOUD/ ACTING SILLY/ I BRING THEM BACK IN LINE AND REMIND THEM WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON AND WHAT ARE GOAL IS IN MY CLASS. THE MISTAKE WOULD BE NOT GETTING THE CLASS BACK IN CONTROL
