Common Instructors Mistake
The most common mistake can be when the students ask a question and the Instructor answer " I dont know " can be the worst mistake cna be.

It is a never a good idea to tell a student I don't know and leave that as an answer. The instructor should always advise the student the answer will be researched and the answer will the given.

I think its great when students actually ask the instructors challenging questions!! This has happened to me and what we will do is just take a minute or two out of class to research the answer together. It helps to show them that I am a person too and I'm not perfect. It also shows that things in our field are constantly changing so no matter how long you have been in the field things continue to change!
if an instructor does not know the answer to a question the students know when you do not know the answer by your response. honest responses are respected by the student. i do not know, but i will find out, is what i say freguently
