When the student is talking in class I will utilize the words please see me after class in order to change the student behaivor.

There were some great tips that were given in ED 113 that I will utilize. As you stated, "see me after class", but I will use that for moderate habitual problems. Passing a note to a student who is exhibiting minor problems is another one that I liked. Lastly, I have never had a problem with telling a rude/threatening student to step outside of the classroom so that I can tell them that they will not be permitted back in class until they have spoken with the program director, dean, or campus director. I think that it is important to utilize this information in whatever way we see fit in order to maintain control of the classroom. As instructors we have to make sure that we positively contribute to the learning environment in any way that we can.
