My medical students seems to really enjoy this type of learning.

I would like to be a learner in my own classes. When I'm deciding how to teach my course, I try and put myself in the place of the student. I think about what activities might be fun or interesting and then I try to work those ideas into the course. I am careful to remember that another individuals preferences may be different from my own and I do leave my own cofort zone now and then if I feel it will benefit the students.

Secondly, expectations are important too in the classroom as a learner. I let students know what I expect from them on the first day of the program. No surprises and learners know upfront what they are aiming for.
