Benjamin,
Great job! I would also add recent advertisements and slicks to add to your resource book to keep at your disposal the same ads as your prospective clients are seeing.

Donna,
It is the ruling of the state agency to make sure institutions are compliant with consumer protection. Placing an agent on probation is one way of protecting the consumer.

Luisking,
It sounds like you have much to keep up with. Although many states are similar, it is important to know the specifics of the state you are dealing with.

Jennifer,
You are right on track. Don't forget to add current adverisements and ad slicks to see what your prospective clients are viewing as well.

Greg,
Thank you for the feedback on the course. We want to make sure that all agents remain compliant and can quickly find the information that they need.

The rule and regulations , the courses, and the resources that were given in this tutorial. Such webssites and company information

I was very excited about how useful the resource notebook will be for me. I already am adding my school's catalog, position handbook, and compliance guide.

I will be updating mine as recommended.

Hi Donna,

Any idea what we are suppose to do if we are in the field and see someone in direct violation of the rules and regulations?

Don't forget to print out and include the Reference Notebook Checklist. Provides all the links.

I have started a resource notebook which consists of the florida statutes and included things such as organizational chart, which i didnt think off, just in case had questions to someone in a different area or department.

I have placed in my notebook a copy of the Florida Statute and Regulations. I discovered that an agents license can be placed on probation if the Commission finds grounds that an agent damages the reputation of another institution.

Some of the information i would include are the Florida statues, independent commsions rules and regulations, and contact information.

I discovered that my institution has to do this in all the states it operates. Since we are in several states my organization has numerous rules and relugations to abide with.

Hi Patty,
So far in my Resource note book I have included the FL Statue 1005, CIE Rule 6E. In addition, I have ensured that I have our most up to date enrollment agreements, current programs, tuition and policies.
All links have been added for quick reference to my computer so I can ensure information is most up too date.

My license, staff contact information, A copy of certain Florida statues and regulations that pertain to my institution. Financial aid guidlines, Degree program information.

I am very aware of the licensing statutes here in FL. My institution was very strict on me submitting for agent and my security back ground check upon hiring.

I was however, impressed with the this course has broken everything down to make it simple for even me to understand and convey meaning to the training.

Well it is a good Idea to have a resource note book but yes you can absolutely have your license revoked which is why it is important to keep this notebook to assure you are in compliance.

Victor,
The state operates as a consumer protection agency in which the state license indicates the agent is authorized. Punitive action of revocation is necessary in cases of malpractice of that license.

hello patty,

In my Resource notebook i have a college catalog, A copy of the enrollment agreement is also needed,
the organizational chart, A copy of our placement policy and reference.

I also didn't know you can get your license revoked nor did I know the mandatory steps needed to be a licensed agent in Florida.

I'm going to follow the suggetions given in the module, I found them to be very informative, what I was surprised to learn was how Florida regulates the admissions agent and the institutions, we should have many more states follow Florida's example, for it will benefit the prospective student.

I have learned to create an notebook with all the courses and faciliy information and also to keep an up to date notebook with all the recent florida regulations.
