Admissions requirements must be clearly stated in your catalog and other documents that students receive. The admissions requirements must follow the rules as outlined in the Statutes and Rules documents.

Absolutely! The catalog along with the enrollment agreement are your contract with the students.

Also, it is very important to become familiar with any changes that have occurred since the printing of the catalog. Informing the student of these updates and providing them with some type of documentation of these changes is very important as well.
I find it very helpful going over the whole Catalog with most students and even place color page marks (like those used for signatures). As students ask certain questions that are particularly important to them and whose parents are not present, it makes it easier to access the pages that are marked and present the answers effectively. i.e. Financial Aid, Career Services etc
