Enrollment Agreement

From what I understand during the module 2 its better to informed the students of all the admission details during the interview.

Eric ,
It really needs to be the right fit for if it is not, the student will end up dropping from school. We need to always look for long term success.

I agree! education is an extremely large commitment of both finances and time for a student. They should be made aware of all the intricacies of an institution. This will allow the student to gage whether or not it will be the "right" fit for them.

Andrew,

It is unethical and it is illegal. Anyone who enroll some school needs to have a copy of all the documents that they signed. It is just good business.

Patty Aronoff

In my time as a rep i i have seen many admissions reps not provide there newly enrolled student with a copy of there enrollment agreement because of fear that they know the student may cancel. i consider this an unethical practice.

Dawn,
Absolutely! The catalog is the guiding principles for which they progress. Students must receive a copy of the catalog. They sign that they have when they sign the enrollment agreement.

Patty Aronoff

Given the role that the catalogu plays in formulating the realtionship that is agreed to in the enrolment agreement I now have a better understanding as to why my organization insists that students be given access to the full catolog and note where it is located at all times and acknowledge that they have been guided appropriately in this area.

Antonio,
The enrollment agreement along with the catalog constitute the contract between the student and the school. They need to units and every bit of both documents.

Patty Aronoff

every student should be advised on every step of the enrollment. they should be informed and explained every paper that they are reading and signing.

I agree. More information shared (within reason) with the student during the interview process gives the prospective student a better idea if the school choice/requirements are right for him or her.

Teresa,

Absolutely! They need to have all the information in order to make a solid decision.this is their future.
