What do you know about your institution?

How do you rate your knowledge about your institution? Be specific about what you know and what you are discovering.

Jennifer,

We can never say we have learned it all. Constantly refining and learning new things keeps us the best we can be.

Patty Aronoff

I learn more and more everyday. I have to often keep up to date with the admissions process. This is my job and I need to know the laws. This will better help me educate the students.

Trisha,

Consumers today are very savvy. Continue to learn and show off your confidence.

I'm brand new both to admissions and my school, so I am learning at break neck speed. However, I find the more I learn, the more I really support and get excited about my institution. So many times, when there is something one doesn't understand we try to just gloss over it, but if you actually take the time to understand the information that you were uncomfortable with you can help the student make a more informed choice.

Marianne,

Just think about all you have learned in your three years. Try sitting in on classes and getting to know the instructors.

Patty Aronoff

Alice,
Getting to know the school, the staff, and the programs is all part of product knowledge. It is essential for continued success.

Patty Aronoff

Susan,
We can never say that we have learned it all! Keep up the good work!

I started here about three years ago. Considering, our courses are predominantly in the allied health field, I was struggling a little bit with my zero medical background. It helped to continue doing research and learning from co-workers who were more knowledgeable. Three years later, with the industry constantly changing I find that learning is an ongoing process.

I am also learning but like the modules explain, I have met with program chairs, read the catalog, visit the financial aid department. This is all part of the training for the reps at our institution and I believe it is successful.

I believe this will be an never ending endevor. I am just starting to learn the programs, regulations and how to help students enroll so I have a lot to learn.

Lawrence,

Although others may argue the point, product knowledge is extremely important. You may think you can talk around the product but you must know it. We have very savvy consumers today.

Patty Aronoff

Kevin,
The process is never ending and taking the steps to stay ahead are important.

Patty Aronoff

Alexis,
The learning never ends. It is exciting to have many opportunities to take training.

Patty Aronoff

ricardo,

Excellent! You will be mazes at what you will learn.

Patty Aronoff

John,
I always hope that we strive to find the right program for the student. It must be the right fit from both sides.

Patty Aronoff

Miriam,

Admissions reps should be very familiar itch the other departments within the school. After all, it takes a whole school to produce a graduate.

Patty Aronoff

Shannon,

Congratulations on being a school owner! You have a strong background for success. Yes, financial aid is a whole different arena. Look to the experts to assist you.

Patty Aronoff

Max,
By the book...is a great motto. The students expect us to have the answers and direct them in policy.

Patty Aronoff

Jose,
Knowledge is power and our prospective students expect us to know.
