The knowledge of my institution was provided through a two week training. This included being certified by my institution on compliance, product knowledge, interviewing skills and phone skills. The knowledge offered as well included meeting with each program chair, director, dean, librarians, instructors and more. The product knowledge gathered has helped me gain a great understanding of what to provide to my prospective students and how to help them make the right decision for their future.

I just startat the institution, but, so far, the information i been receiving is very helpful. However, it is a challenge because, it is an institution 100% online and I was not use to it, so it is a lot of different things to learn and to get involved to be able to interact with a prospect.
I would say my knowledge of my Institution is very good. I not only talk on a weekly basis to the Director of Education, the career director, as well as the President of the school.This is important for our school so that each department knows what is new and what is going on. I also sit in on classes so that I am aware of each class and what the students are learning. This way when I meet with new prospects I know what is involved in there classes. I learn new things from the classes and also from each department. I am always reading new articles about school and how I help the students even further.

I rate my knowledge about my institution that of a expert. I have over 30 yr of experience working in a learning institution. Given my position within the instituion I have to be very knowledgable of what programs we offer. I'm viewed as the point of resource. Everyday is a new learning experience. Our industry is one that changes daily with new fades, fashions, and creativity in order to be competative in being able to provide instruction and guidance to staff and students one must be up to date with every aspect of cosmetology.

The Student Protection Fund is there to assist students who are attending a school that closes operations without teaching out the students. This is a protection similar to an insurance policy in the case of default.
