Out of a possible 10, I would probably say 7-8, just because I am new and the educational system is a bit different than I am accustomed to, because it is based on the European-style of learning.
I'm picking up things quickly, but I know all the programs that we offer at our particular campus and the main campus. I know the duration of our programs and the degrees awarded.
I don't know ALL of our history just yet, but I do know that we are consistently highly-ranked around the world.
I am beginning to find out about everyone's roles at the main campus, but some of the operating procedures are being worked on as well.
I have been with my institution for many years and I believe you really must have a strong relationship with other departments and really understand what they do. This will help you help your students.

i would rate my knowledge level about a 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. there is still a lot that think i need to know.
I dont think you can know more about an insitutation than I do since i created it. However, having knowledge of new laws is just as important or even more important as knowing your institution. Knowing the laws help you develop and implement effective policies.
I would rate my knowledge as excellent. I am aware that there is something new to learn everyday, but the ability and support is there. Being able to communicate with all staff members and weekly training with supervisors keep our team focused and up to date.
I would say it is above average since I have been with 3 different types of admissions department throughout my 5 yr tenure here.
Second week on the job, I considere my self a six. As a graduate of my Institution I have a little back ground knowledge of the daily students operation but stillhave a lot to learn.
I have a high rate of knowledge about my Institution; in a scale of 1 to 10, a 9. I work in a higher administrative level and worked in different administrative positions in the past 11 years. I also, actively participate in the self-study processes and strategic plan developments during this period, overview one of the campuses, and teach. All this experience helps me know the institution, but there always new things to learn. Each time a Reauthorization Act is done a lot of changes that impact higher education occurs.

My knowledge about our institution is fairly new and we are all learning little by little, but I do know the organization chart I know the field that the institution will focus on (nursing program). I am discovering there are going to be challenges as an admissions agent but hope everything I've learned so far and the Resource notebook help me in becoming a great agent as expected from the institution.
