Leania,

Knowing the different departments within your school can give you the best edge in admissions. The more you know, the more you can speak with confidence about your programs and your school.

At Motorcycle Mechanics Institute we offer a one of a kind trainging through the 6 major motorcycle manufacturers including Harley Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and BMW.

I would rate between a 1- 10 scale a 8 1/2. Our school is good at keeping up to date with changes. Once a week we have certain personnel to go online a see about anychanges, if there are it is printed out and brought up in weekly meetings for everyone to be on the same page.

I would say that my level of knowledge of my school and its program is very good. We focus on one program at our school and that def allows us to become very informed and aware of all our operations.

I am always amazed at how much my institution discloses. We receive an email anytime there is a minor change in anything. This means we get several emails everyday. Often the emails are introducing training on some new program or procedure. We have great websites and anything can be found online. I was surprised to learn how much is listed in the course catalogue, but I was aware that most information is listed in our "Consumer Information Guide." We also have a main website where anyone can see almost everything about our institution. We have a policies and procedures manual online that I need to learn to use better. We are given so much training and information that it can be overwhelming. We joke about being the University of "Change", but I think that most of us are proud that our university is always seeking to improve.

This section opened my eyes to the opportunities our institution has to service the student. For the first few years I was here, there was little done for our Alumni. Now, students are able to work with another member of the Graduation Team. Each student will be contacted by an Alumni Advisor who will talk to them about future goals, the Alumni Association, the benefits and tools available for all graduates. The response has been positive. Students are feeling supported after graduation. With the Mentorship program, help with resume writing, job boards, and free workshops, students are getting what they need post graduation.

I am a product of my institution! I came to this school seven years ago and signed up on the BS program. Now, I work for the institution that believed in me several years ago. Due to the fact that I graduated from this school and that I am currently working on my graduate program, I feel that I really understand and have much knowledge about this institution. The best part of my job is to show people how to change their live through higher education.

I think i know a good amount of information about my institution. What I don't know off hand I am aware of how to manuever through our website to get the correct information. Plus I like to always show students information in black and white that way they having something to refer to. I am aware of our accreditation, tution rates, programs offered, admission requirements, application fees, and most of the up front questions or initial questions.

i would rate my knowledge about my institution as really good. i havent been with this institution for too long but since day 1 ive been reading and asking questions and writing everything down to be the best at what i do.

I'm not new to this industry but i'm new to my current institution. I'm always striving to learn new methods, procedures, and effective "best practices" to deliver an honest, ethical approach to my prospective students.

I know about programs, financial aid, entrance requirements, placement services. I'm know starting to ask more about different departments of the school.

Nicole,
Questions are the path to know, edge. When one person make inquiries, we all learn!

Ian,

History can give us so much information and guidance of where we are headed.

Patty Aronoff

Melanie,

We have such an exciting sector in education. It's never boring and really infused in our communities and every day life.

Patty Aronoff

Susan,

Small schools do have the advantage of a setting where admissions reps can really get to know the school in every respect.

Patty Aronoff

Marlene,

You are off to a great start. Look at every opportunity as one for growth and knowledge in the industry.

Patty Aronoff

Michael,
Online education is very different than face-to-face classes. Students will find the experience very different and require different skill sets to be successful.
