Patty thank you for the simple breakdown... Yes compliance in this industry is very vital and many lives are affected by those who act unethically, without integrity and honesty. When dealing with students, it is important to treat them as if they were our own child, brother, sister or mother. I have seen some unethical practices and we must always approach our student with the mindset of how would you like to be treated? Student are more educated now and this is a huge turnoff and gives the institution as a whole a bad name.

As it should be for all companies, not just educational facilities; ethics and moral behavior should be of the highest standard. This will ensure the student/customer are always treated fairly.

Keeping up with the regulations keeps us on the straight and narrow, to be above board. It helps to keep us honest. Its like the old saying, "honesty is the best policy". The more regulation requirement the better it is.

The Commission for Indepedent Education requirements are important because it can affected the total existance of the institution. the rule and regulations of the CIE is critical to the intstitution and employees to know becasue it is the guidline of compliance that ensure that the postseciondary education is remaining compliant.

In my opinion the regulatory requirements affect how I perform my job by providing a standard of expectations and guidelines that direct me to have the students best interest at the forefront of my mind during the admissions process.

The regulations and rules make the school better, thus making me better at my position. I like that all representatives must operate honest and ethically. We have the pleasure of changing lives and we need to ensure we do so honestly.
