Meetings

Meetings and phone conferences give me a full understanding, of any changes or issues that may be arising. Just reading email blast doesn't always give the best understanding. But during conference calls and meetings, things are discussed in great detail, that bring the email full circle. Also hearing someone else's way of dealing with an issue or concern, helps quite a bit. The meetings and conference calls also help me stay up-to-date with what's happening, and they offer a lot of support.

Nathan,
Emails are an efficient way to disseminate information. You just can't beat one to one conversation.

Web Ex's, teleconferences, one on one's with management/leadership, and All-Staff Meetings help straightline the company's goals and objectives. I agree that email blasts may either be relevant or irrelevant and by having group discussions or meetings helps to better understand what it is a department needs to understand or implement.

farida,
Importantly, we must keep communication lines moving and effective.
