In addition to weekly meetings here at the school, I have attended CIE meetings and Board of Nursing meetings. These have been a great resource in my continuing education on Nursing programs and regulatory affairs.
There is a monthly meeting at our institution that includes participants from all departments. This is an excellent opportunity to understand changes within each department and keep current with what has changed.
We have weekly mandatory meetings to discuss updates, policies, and best practices. We update our licenses annually. We also conduct company wide quarterly trainings to discuss changes and updates regulations.
Im new as well and was unfamiliar with the site until now but I feel I will always have an instant place to come if I have any type of practice questions if the Director is unavailable. Thanks for the help.
I attend the Commission meetings as often as I can (at least ones a year). These meetings are a great place to learn about "hot topics" for the commission as well as trends in the industry.
We have weekly friday morning meetings. We go over what has happened throughout the week, where we're at on enrolling students, and what could we do better to bring that number up. Everyone gives information and input and tries to give everyone positive encouragement!
Well we have a meeting every week to make sure we have all the new info that we need to have to be able to do our job Correct.
At the institution I used to be associated with the faculty meetings were completely separated from the admissions representatives. Later the group was brought together but the faculty resented this; big strategic mistake. Where I am associated now we promote the idea of teamwork, admissions and faculty are brought together whenever appropriate and relevant to the items to be discussed.
