integerty
we are constantly self policing our selves to make sure that we are acting in the highest standards. We also have Walk the Walk meetings to make sure we do the right thing.
It is extremely important to stay on top of all communication so that we are giving students the most accurate information.
“To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.†--Douglas Adams
Very true. The key is to provide correct information so potential student can make an informed decision.
Integrity is of utmost importance. We hold quarterly Compliance meetings with the Admissions Reps. We are constantly reminding them of the "Do's and Dont's".
It is so important to provide all information accurately for the student to make an informed decision. It must be their decision.
Our motto and mission is to always do what is in the best interest of the student.
One of the things that my directors stress is to always work with integrity. It's very unnerving-as a new rep- to come face to face with a student or PARENT and not have all of the answers. I've been trained to respond in those moments with: "I'm not 100% sure. So, let me find the answer and get back to you."
Integrity is incredibly important. It is important to provide prospects with truthful and correct information. It is the foundation of trust for anyone attending your institution.
Good thoughts Stacie. Unfortunately, most of the truly important things that we are responsible for knowing are learned on the job. It is paramount that we stay up-to-date on all information that we need to serve our students well.
I agree completely with your statement. Our interaction with students is a reflection of the institution that we work for. Most importantly, it reflects our character. In all aspects of our lives we should treat others the way we would want to be treated, without exception.
clarity in disseminating your documentations and presenting the facts to support your dialogue creates trust and a well informed student.
Integrity is important for so many reasons, but one that stands out to me is regarding the student's decision. This is a very big decision for students, one that is along the lines of marriage and children for most of them, so they should have all the clear information that they need to make this very big decision. The student's huge life decision in which college to attend and which program to participate in should be respected.
Complience is a huge deal. I don't think enough people take it as seriously as they should. I strive to give the best up to date info to all of my prospective students. When I first started I was so unprepared. I feel like continual training is a must. How can you represent your school appropriately with out the information needed?
Great messgae, we also hold weekly meeting to discuss the school integrity. Our staf has also agreed to hold one another accountable for the applying integrity in everthing that we do.
I agree, I feel that as an admissions rep it is my responsibility to make sure that the student understands everything. Integerty is a very important part of our job. Every step of the process I make sure to ask the student if they understand because I do not want them to be misled or confused. I always ask them if they have any questions too.
Compliance is crucial, we take all steps necessary to assure staying within the stated boundaries.
I hold integrity as core value for myself, one reason I took my role because through out the interview process I was made aware of how much the organzation valued compliance and integrity. I believe that if an orgnazation does not hold compliance and integrity as a core value, the organzation well eventualy fail, as we have seen in recent hisotry with major corporations.
I feel stongly that integrety is more important than anything else for admissions. We have a responsibility to be honest with our information that we give the students.
I agree. I review all disclosures and ensure the student understands the paperwork before moving forward. Each department meets with the student and ensures they understand the expectations that will need to be met while attending school before they officially enroll.
This is very true! We have been trained never to give information to a student/potential student if you're not 100% sure of it yourself. If you don't know, go ask someone who does. The student will appreciate the fact that you went out of your way to give them the correct information!
I think that as an admissions rep it is important to get to know the student as much as he or she will allow. That way we see the potential student as a person and understand better how we can help them.
