I think in order to ensure that we are all collborating effectivly, our team should hold meetings more often with an update on their progress. That way, we can feel more supportive and aware of how we are progressing as a unit.
Thanks Sara. Modeling and leading by example are great ways to instill a collaborative environment. You have control of the behavior you want to model. Perhaps others will follow suit. Keep us posted as things progress.
I think our department can continue to model what good collaboration looks like. It's difficult though to approach leadership and suggest that they become more collaborative.

I will incorporate collaboration with my team by asking for ideas & feedback on strategies to achieve goals. At my school I will meet with all team members to establish common goals.
