Disability Federal law protection

How far back does the disability history go to consider is protected by federal law if no occurences in a while?

Marvin,
I am not sure I understand your question. Anyone with a history of disability is protected from discrimination on the basis of that history (no matter how long ago). But we generally only make accommodations to people who are experiencing a current impact from the disability. So if the disability is something far in the past, they generally don't need accommodations, but they need protection from someone who says, "we don't take people with THAT diagnosis here" (or similar discriminatory treatment).
