Society has changed
It has changed a lot. There are many more ways to accommodate students with disabilities and I am grateful for that. This part of training class has really got my attention. There is so much things I learned today.
Society is much more advanced today than years ago. People with disabilities are recognized today and given the same opportunities to succeed. Everyone has a disability in one form or another. We have to change the disability from a negative issue to a positive for our own success.
Society has change and technology is assisting disable students in being more independent and accessing educational material that previously they couldn't access unless someone got it for them.

I agree. Technology has really enhanced learning for those with disabilities. For instance, onlince classes have really helped those with anxiety disorders.
I agree, Crystal. Most importantly, society as a whole no longer treats students (or people in general) with disabilities as "weird" or as freaks. This is a giant step forward.
