Our Campus Commitment to Student engagement
We in the education department at our campus work with the Campus Student service cepartment as a team to engage students in various campus activities such as:
Student Drag Racing
Special Bowling nights
Go kart racing
Adapt -a Highway
Volunteer opportunities with local dirt track race teams
Blood Drives
Habitat for humanity
School commitment for students success should not be limited to the student teacher relationship,but everyone within the organization must focus on the students success.
You guys seem to be dioing a great job...keeping the students involved should help them stay focused on their careers.
That's quite a list of activities! Are all faculty members involved? Is participation required or just expected? Is there additional compensation or compensatory time?
