I think there is always an issue of juggling unexpected tasks and those that are scheduled and sometimes unflexible. For example, the timing for teaching our classes versus the maintenance task that creap into the picture.
While we have some time after class, when there are only one or two instructors in a group that single phase, sometimes alot gets dumped on our plate, because double phasing instructors do not have time.
