Ruth, great point with respect to setting the stage and expectations the first day of class. You never get a second chance to make that first impression and this is where some instructors fail to take control and remain in controll from day one. Being in controll does not make one a controller over a guide as a good guide is always in control. The buddy just wants to get along with everyone and does not want to work hard to achieve their goals. The guide understands that they must bring their "A" game everyday to be successful and this level of effort is part of the job. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. James Jackson
