Informative/Need-to-know
I understand the importance of knowing the information covered in CM102, but feel that it is a waste of time. As a very busy clinic/program director, having to take the course forced me to take 3-4 hours of my valuable time away from not only my students, but also my family, as I had many interruptions and had to finish the course at home. I would suggest splitting the course up into several courses as to not "overload" the student. Though I am proficient in my area of expertise (cosmetology), I am not a great test taker.
Hi Jamie and Steven,
I understand where you are both coming from, while I am working part-time, I also am in school working on my doctorate and have an infant. I understand this is also a condition of employment. I did have to take the time away from, my school work, preparing for my students as well as family to complete this course.
I am in agreement with you Steven, I don't mind completing things that will enhance my ability to teach and did become somewhat frusterated with taking this, however, this to my understanding was a condition of employment.
Hello Jamie,
I too feel your pain...I don't see the relevence to my job as an automotive instructor and how it will make me a better instructor. Also this was sold as a condition of employment, we had several people at our school who have been here for years and had not completed the course?? I enjoy completing courses that will help me with being a better instructor or give me information I can use...none of that was done with this course. Four hours of my life I'll never get back.
Regards, Steven
