As difficult as it can be, learning student names is very important to the GEN Y students. They expect it and can get upset if not called by name or called by the wrong name.
I agree with the importance of learning student names. Also, I like to know the student's field of study to engage in conversation and better apply the relevancy of information/activities to the workplace.
