I learned that Diagnostic assessement is based on students prior knowledge of a particular subject.  Diagnostic assessment becomes part of formative assessment that help improves student learning.

I learned the importance of using a rubrics for grading subjective assessment.  The rubrics provides feedback for the students and evaluation to improve the course.  

I learned the importance of using different types of assessment including subjective and objective.  The objective assessment is the method most commonly used for true/false test questions and multiple choice questions.  The subjective assessment is difficult to grade without a rubrics and must be given exact parameters.  I have used primarily objective assessment and Norm-references assessment.

I learn it's important to obtain feedback from your students regarding the assessment process.  The instructor should also be aske the same questions as the students.  Wheter feedback is positive or negative this information will provide you on the next steps that need to be taken for the next schedule class

I learned about the differences between Assessment and Evaluation as well as Summative and Formative.  There were great ideas about "Muddiest Point" and "One minute paper" for evaluating if the students are learning and if anything needs to clarified in the lecture. 

I learned in this module the importance of using the technology tools that will be most useful to meet the objectives of the course.  We should give feedback when we give assignments to the students that will be meaningful and assist them in improving.  The students should also provide meaningful feedback to improve the course.
