Paperwork

We have to understand how important it is to have complete and accurate paperwork. It is easy to get caught up in focusing on just enrolling and forget that our paperwork must be in order. One mistake on our paperwork can cost our company a huge dollar amount in fines or other penalties.

Training

From what I have seen thus far; this seems to be what most reps that have been in the business for some time. Sometimes we get away from the basics that we learn when we first start. Training is essential when it comes to admissions and we all could use a dose from time to time.

Scaring away prospective students

Do prospective students get overwhelmed/scared when they come in for an initial interview and they are told everything about the program? Everything would include attendance, tuition, what they would have to know about to get in to that specific program that they are inquiring.

Is your school using texting to reach out to or communicate with students?

I am an instructor at my school but required to sit in on recruitment meetings to answer questions pertinent to my field. Do I need an agent's permit? There will also be an agent present to lead the meeting.

Our school has gone to online paperwork with all the details covered that an Admissions officer needs to be completely compliant. This helps make me better and my job easier.

I think this is great info.,and having brief informational updates is good as dept. sometimes have changes-big and small.

Regarding this I think periodic updates and quizes would make sure each Adm.Rep. is always on target.

Information

I feel that it is vital for the agents to be updated everyday with new information. It could be performance related, compliance regulations, or even something as simple as dress code updates. Communication is the key when working in a large cooperation.

It is important to give the student the whole experience of attending your school. Get to know everything your school has to offer so that the student will know whats all included.

Qualifications of an Agent

I think that it is great to make sure an agent qualifys for the job. Drug screenings and background checks are essential for employment. It also creates a safe and secure working environment.

Our post secondary education is nationwide with a number of agents. Therefore we have ad contol to ensure that onlyu approved marketing materials are alowed through our marketing tool kit. This ensures that evey agent is only using the proper materials.
