To prevent fragmentation of learning, it is paramount to keep goodand open communication to our students. Guiding the students to resolve conflicts will help them keep their commitment to education.

Fostering active participation in both synchronous and asynchronous class discussion is a must for all educators to keep the learners engage. Another way to capture the students' interest or attention is the way we convey the information or message through verbal or non-verbal cues that reflects our emotion, agreement or disagreement.

It is paramount in a learning environment that intructor is felt by students even in a virtual or online classes. Involving the students in the discussion, valuing their responses and creating constructive criticism if necessary as well as saying thank you for sharing their thoughts will let them feel that their instructor is present. 

Learning in an online platform is more challenging for instructors particularly for those beginners because it requires the ability to keep students engage in their studies in a virtual environment. I learned that providing student-centric education can be done in different approach or strategies with common end goal that is provision of essential learning concepts and skills  to students in constructive feedback in a timely manner.
