I like the idea of pretests. I teach pt care classes and I am always amazed at what students think is ok to do when they are the student and not the patient.

I like powerpoints because they help my students get to know the steps of the hands on skills they are learning. The read it, they see it, they do it!

students who dont speak english very well

I have a student who does poor classroom work and always blames it on English. She has lived here for 12 years and speaks well. How do I help her?

mini lectures

Does this help the students with concentration? I do a lab class and usually lecture and then do lab. Would it be better to break it up?
