How to provide career services assistance without having workshops.

Hi there, We do not have the staff or the funds to hire more staff for our career services department. It's just me and I have very little experience. I am learning more information everyday. With the lack of personnel it is next to impossible to host a workshop. We started a Career Services part of our website that gives tutorials of what, when and how for the job searcher. What suggestions do you have to make the best of our situation.

Contacting the hiring managers at companies

I am beginning to grow our Career Services Department. I am trying to contact the hiring managers at local hospitals and clinics to build a relationship. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

One wo-man Placement/Career Service Department

I am the one wo-man show of the Placement Department. I work for a small medical training school. We are very short staffed and just finished a month of lay offs. So now, even more short staffed. I have a good amount of experience in Admissions, but not in Career Services. 2 months ago I was asked to take over the Career Services Department. I am learning day by day.
