I found that the forums in the course itself were extremely informative.  It gave me a better insight as to the procedures and operations at other campuses, and what works best for their students.  It was also great to get other perspectives on your comments and see how it relates to them.  It's interesting how much learns just from interacting with others in the same business.

I agree wholeheartedly. With our campus location and the fact that 2 other schools are within 1 mile of each other, the comparison and questions come up frequently. It would be so easy to fall into that trap of being negative of our competitors, but our students see for themselves the obvious differences between the other 2 schools and our campus, just from the moment they walk in our doors to the time they leave. Because of the positive aspects we place on our school, the students tell us that they know they've come to the right place....then you know… >>>

Our campus is located directly across 2 other college campuses. The competition is there, but our best advertisement has been our own students. The "word of mouth" advertisement we have is strong because of our current students. They have positive experiences at our campus, which they share with their family and friends, which bring in potential students. I feel this is the best advertisement you can have within a competitive market.
