Being prepared and having the proper resources will help class run smoothly. Engage with students and allow my personality to shine through as well as presenting expectations and guidelines.

Confidence is key. As a new instructor, I need to remember that I have a wealth of knowledge to draw from and offer to the students. While at the same time, I cannot attempt to convince them that I am the smartest person in the room. There needs to be a balance.
