online homework and tests

I currently give all online homework and tests. However, this has given me the idea to possible try some hands on material for homework and tests. I will try to find a way tro incorporate this for my stedents. It should be very helpful for their learning experience.

Procrastinating

I'm a terrible procrastinator and put most things off until the very last minute. However, I am very prompt about putting in students grades, usually right after they are done with the graded task.

Pre-tests

I have been giving my students pre-tests since I began teaching. They have been very helpful in guiding me to put more emphasis on the areas that they are not as strong in.

This section is very helpful with giving me ideas to make power point slides. I had never heard of the 10/20/30 rule. Very helpful stuff!

Teaching Style

I had never really thought about my teaching style before. This section really gave me something to think about and reflect on. As well as giving me a direction to go in. I never reralized I was a statue instructor and I personally don't care for those types of instructors.

Motivator

I constantly encouarge my students to come to tutoring or study sessions. I even talk about how I attended some study sessions myself during college. I say this to encourage them to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the subject.

separation of duties

I would say the best example would be a recruiter that is also in charge of financial aid. Almost any position should be separated from financials. By doing this we can eliminate a lot of the ethical dilemmas and making all financials their own separate entities.

Occupation Disclosures

I think that it would good to be able to show how many students are employed after graduation. I say this with no intent to deceive prospective students but to show them the quality of education they will be receiving. I think that this could also show that the instructors of the institute are top quality and ensure the growth of their students.

Separation of duties are very important to keep people in the organization honest.
