About me

I was an instructor here at SBI-Landover for 5 years.  I left and worked at 2 other schools as Program chair.  I returned with an Associate Degree in Healthcare Management in 2009 and worked 1.5 years as an instructor and in July 2010 became the Program Director for the Medical Assisting Program.  I love it.  I have learned a lot since being back.  The different institutions had different criteria for the MA programs curriculum.  But I enjoy working with students and giving instructors my expertise in advice for various ideas in the program.

Activity

This subject which was presented in Module 4 was excellent.  I really liked this module because I am a team player and I display this at all times at school with my staff, faculty and especially my students.  I work well with all including the students.  Students come in my office just to see how I am doing and if I can give him/her some advice for class studies for the day.  I also greet all students when I see them in the hallways, lunch area and the classrooms.  My attitude toward coming to work is my passion because this is what… >>>

I just completed RT101.  It was very interesting.  I am not an instructor any more, but I have learn that I can still use some of my instructor's task with the students as being Program Director.  I have actually performed many of the answers that were given to questions by the facilitator.  I will continue being proactive with my students as well as my staff.
