When the question was posed;
Are exceptions made for faculty teaching topics that are not commonly tied to an academic degree credential?
and the answer was given;
Certain trades are more commonly tied to certification/licensure/ratings or other means to recognize approved skill levels. In these instances, some states consider experience and relevant certifications/licenses in lieu of achievement of a certain degree level, although some require both.
I believe that this was a great point. There are some teaching topics that can only be taught by experience.
I believe it is important to not discredit those who are fantastic… >>>
