Active listening is crucial in communication, it builds trust and better connection with students. Must be able to repeat, re-phrase, and reflect.
Listen effectively-shut down the noise and truly pay attention. Respond appropriately, be aware of biases, repeat and reflect. I was able to learn different body languages and what it can portray if not careful.
It is interesting that body language is more powerful than words when commnunicating. It is also really important to have a structure in any type of communication.
