Rubrics are something I always include with assignments.  I never thought of how we can sometimes use comments to justify the grade we have given to an assignment.

Scaffolding aloows the student to build new knowledge adding to what they already know. This encourages a positive approach to learning as the student will continue to learn and have the syllabus to guide them in the direction that reaches the intended goal for the course.

Once a module is developed you can use it and see what you can revise so it can be used again. It keeps you consistent with how you dispense information.
