I think the resource notebook is a great idea. My problem is figuring out what is important and not important to be in it. Also, are we at the point now where this should be done electronically or still by paper? Could this be a resource notebook that the office puts together, together?

Meetings

There are many different meetings that are held at the institution. The weekly meetings we have with our admissions office are important to determine what we are doing each week and where there is room for us to take on new projects. We also have our faculty and staff meetings which are important to determine what each area and department of the school is doing to understnad our processes. These are important meetings to attend to also encourage interaction between the departments and smooth communication.

Know What your Institution Has to Offer

Right now I am working on meeting with all program leads for the different programs and opportunities at our institution. It is important for us as admissions representatives to understand all of the offerings of our institution and to be able to provide the most accurate and up to date information to those students.
