You are right.  It would be hard for the lecturrer to teach different learning methods all at the same time to a group of people.  When one on one this would be better accomplished.

I write reviews for the students, and also give home quizzes, which encourages them to read the chapter on their own.  I also incorporate research papers which students then have to present  in front of the class.  The research as they say makes them more aware of the sujects studied and they like that.

You are so right.  One is never to give up hope.

Hi Elly, i guess it is a more of a challenge when you are substituting, because you don't know the students.  If one or two students would continually be disruptive during the class I would face them and ask them if there was a problem that I'm maybe not aware of.  And if their answer would be "no", I would ask them to quiet down as we are all here to learn.  I would not tolerate them continue being disruptive "for fun."

I think that stress can be encountered with any situations dealing in every day life, and it is up to a person to make the best of their daily life through all these experiences.  Think of the saying: “Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it.”  There is truth in this, and if I let everything negative that goes on around me affect my daily life doings all the time, I will not be of productive use to myself nor the company I am working for, nor my family at home.
