I agree. THe final quiz was tricky but being able to go at my own pace really helped me with it. There was a great deal of info that I'm glad I reviewed.

I loved this online course!

I loved the fact that I could go at my own pace. That made learning more enjoyable. Continuing educating ourselves on what we do is the best way to perform better at our job. The forums were great too. If I had questions...they usually got answered!

Techniques that can be used to block out distractions when listening

Does anone have any insight on techniques that can be used to block out distracting surroundings? For example...a hectic office, co-workers, phones riinging, etc.

Making conversation notes on your student for future use

I sometimes have to make notes of certain subjects or goals discussed when speaking to students. I found it was easier for me to remember how to best connect with them when speakng to them in the future. Even jotting down there favorite activities so that I can bring that subject up again...does anyone else do this? Or is this trying to hard? When speaking with so many students / potential students its easy to get confused.
