l learned that it is important to have an record keeping system to organize material in an effective way, either by student or by assignment.  I also appreciate the information regarding certain student behaviors and how to deal with them.

One of the benefits of asynchronous discussions/meetings is that an introverted or shy person can participate fully and be heard while not having to deal real time with more competitive students.

It's important to establish credibility by including educational background and prior experience in the instructor's bio.  

The importance of learning the CMS before teaching your first course.  It's always challenging the first time through, but the more you know beforehand, the better your course will go.

I appreciate the guidelines for instructors, especially avoiding sarcasm.

I am very glad to learn that there are many assistive devices for persons with disabilities and hope that all LMS will ensure that content is available to all students, including those with disabilities.

I learned that we must use good judgment when designing assignments and make sure that we are following the law, and, more importantly, helping all students to be successful.

The range of disabilities is daunting.  As teachers, we need to withhold judgment and consider different options to help students to successfully complete our courses.

Take care in preparing for each class session to allow for different methods of presenting information.

Establishing credibility by sharing your experience as well as taking the time to learn names and correct pronunciations.
