About me
Activity
I do not believe in taking a person's money if I cannot help them apply their training in the workplace. By painting a realistic picture of what the training consists of and applying it to a typical day as an employee I am able to justify a person's investment in themselves both short and long term. This is the philosophy of our school. Our management team allows me to enroll the right people and not just a number. This sincerity comes through during my interview and is conveyed by all the staff.
If a potential student would have difficulty getting a job based on an industries specifications or could not read or write to pass the curriculum I would discourag him or her from enrolling. Perhaps have them contact companies in advance to test the waters for employment or have them pass a section of the curriculum in advance.
There are times when a person is facing too many obstacles to begin a program. I try to make sure they are clear as to what is expected of them from the school and be able to realistically fullfill the course requirements and hours of the program. Having a potential student get all the pieces together in their lives can make a big difference to achieving success and employment.
I do like this idea. some people monopolize meetings or say nothing at all.
Try to have more meetings with staff.
Review current enrollment agreements.
Represent school based on current employment income levels.
First week of class is a good time to review the school catalog, who's who and handling questions before they escalate.
Still unclear as to what is needed to use an outside company's name in our advertising. Will ask our management team here.
I didn't realize how much it costs to register a school and protect students.
