I have had my share of "Stubborn Students" in my class.  There have been times when a student will feel that what they have to say is much more important that what I am presenting to the class.  When this happens, I try to defuse the situation quickly, rather than allow the disruption to continue.  If this is unsuccessful, I have the student leave the class room.  Often I have found that when a student behaves as such, the issues involved have little to do with the class, but often are personal problems the the student is unable to deal with>>>
