So how are the leaders coming from the Baby Boomer Generation (or other generations) connecting with the Net Gen's they are managing or teaching?
A group of us will be presenting at APSCU about how the "sales" approach used in Admissions can also improve student retention vs, just getting students in the door. I'm curious if anyone has measured this at your school/college?
Tien, Wow! Lots of great questions and a mix of open and closed versions. I'm curious, what is the purpose of your questioning? In other words, what do you do with all this information? Dr. Jean Norris
Christie, Sounds pretty straight forward then. Do you find that just because your school is the cheapest that you get more enrollments then? Dr. Jean Norris
johnny, It's great that you have been where your prospective student has been and can really relate. Just curious how you share with them the potential pay? Is this internal information or from an internal source? Dr. Jean Norris
Pegah, What I like best about your response is you know exactly which professional to point your prospective student to for more information. Excellent! Dr. Jean Norris
Christie, Interesting question. What do you do when a prospective student says they don't know the answer? Dr. Jean Norris
johnny, Great insight! I'm guessing those who "learn by doing" would really value this experience, too! Dr. Jean Norris
johnny, These are some good ones. What are the answers you typically get from these questions? Dr. Jean Norris
Terrill, Thank you for sharing your story with us. Your example clearly shows how important it is to choose a positive attitude and relate to people vs. selling them. All the product knowledge in the world wouldn't help you do what you did with this particular person either. Great example! Dr. Jean Norris
