At my institution I am conducting the assessment report for each of the courses in the computer science program. When I was first introduced to it, my question was “What is assessment?†I knew about homework, quizzes, exams, etc. and that at the end you’ll perform a summary to obtain a grade. Now I know that assessment is the design of a test that it is supposed to measure and tell if the objectives of the class are being met. This is the main reason why I am taking this on-line course.
