Yolanda, You are right that the on-line components could be cubersome, especially not well developed. However, I found it helpful for novice and experienced teachers if they are well organized. In reality, I founnd quite a few good ones, but the bad ones sometimes became annoying and caused more confusion than actually helpful.

This course over emphasized that taking classes as the most important thing for Professional Development. I agreed that taking classes are critical to understand some theory behind to improve your Technical competency, and potentially your Professional and Personal competencies. However, I found real-life experiences and continuous improvements are more effective for me. I also found exchanging ideas with a peer are also very helpful to deal with specific situations.
