Always make sure the students know your policies or where to find them.

Students that come in with lack of background knowledge is a big factor. I want to look at the K-12 education.

Visual media can help pull in some learners, after a slide show have a video demonstrating what the major points of the slide show.

Setting aside the time to grab all material and get your class in order before the students even enter the classroom or Lab is key to demonstrating what you expect from the student and also setting up how the student sees you.

I can recall starting my first semester as an Instructor and completly feeling overwelmed but looking to those more seasoned than I helped with the transition. Preplanning will greatly effect in a positive way.

Cheating does not pay off end the end. When getting a job you will have to perform these duties. I have been in education for 7 years many courses for classroom managment and I always see conflicting information about test taking and moving about the room. As I proctor exams I will stand behind everyone to see the movement but I stay still.

I do enjoy center stage students as they bring a differant percpective to the class. I have had a few innatentive students and yes 90% of the time they are not engaged with the material. I have had a small percetage of students with a learning disability and figit with things to help focus. i.e their phone. I try to replace the items with more school approved gadgets and it seem to help.

As new students enroll in the class it is key to set the stage. Grasping the attention and setting open conversation and team work. As educators we are selling the product of What's in it for me. Deadlines are a criticul part in knowing what is expected education and in the work force, as the syllabus holds all the information, make it clear and concise.
