We get evaluated from students semi-yearly, not the administrators. If they had a bad day, got a 96% on a test not a 100%, felt irritated, they will get even & throw you under the bus.

From reading "collect homework & redistribute" not allowed at our career college? Anyother ideas except for scantron?

Is sleeping in class disruptive or is it a way to tell me I'm boring. I used to ask the student to meet me after class to understand their "lack" of motivation, yet just got the normal response of "studying all night" Now after that I was a "live by the rules guy", I let the student sleep it off, they are paying for it.

What students can do on their study time: •Review sessions including quiz games, contests, and fun ways to test learning •Silent reading •Answering questions from the instructor •Trying, on their own, something the instructor has just demonstrated •Filling in the blanks on a worksheet as the instructor lectures (guided note-taking) •Discussing pros and cons with the people at their table

Who pays for all of this? I hardly have time for prep, now I should go out & buy Saf - t- Pops. Do I need to get safety sizzors too

Since we cannot offer food/drink rewards or extra credit for the late comers, any idears? I am not giving a magical pen or a sticker.
