I believe there is more technique involved here than the 'proverbial right way and wrong way'. there are many personal attributes that should guide a instructors check list for his 1st meeting; personality, experience, train of thought and message you want the students to leave with.
The module suggests there is a right sequence and an obviously an incorrect sequence in how to welcome and take charge of your class. Personally I would not use this sequence and would amend to accomodate what I think flows best and what it is the last thing I want the students to take… >>>
