Great course! Validated my lecture methods, but provided ways I can enhance the lecture while improving presentation with active learning methods and activities, as well. Looking forward to implementing new strategies with a combination of new courses I 'm teaching and with the courses I'm already experienced with.

I found this course particularly helpful with strategies for dealing with students with learning disabilities.  As I began teaching adult learners in the career college program, I initially approached my teaching with certain assumptions about the students' skills and quickly learned that I would have to regroup and adapt my lessons to be much more accomodating than I expected.  This course was very helpful to help validate some of my approaches and offered some helpful insights into additional approached to help deal with adult learners in general, especially when a disability is suspected or identified.
