Having 6-8 members in a group, peer evaluations, and equal work among members can improve learning for struggling students. 

Repeat, repeat, repeat! That's a great communication tool. Also, to help explain what the student means to increase confidence in communicating.

Dealing with late assignments from students can be handled by giving more heads up on important due dates and reminding students they will be hired on their ability to perform or produce a product, so being late will not fulfill this outcome. 

I love the strategy of asking students questions to help them answer any posed questions better. I know my students struggle with sharing due to their anxiety about not answering the question correctly. Helping them communicate better can help guide their critical reasoning skills, which will build confidence in their learning. 

Online instructors must develop student engagement by creating a welcome letter and best wishes statement at the end of the course. We must include varied course content that includes only need to know details and minimal main ideas to increase student retention and engagement.  

Engaging students from the beginning of the course and providing clear and concise feedback will enhance student learning. 

I intend to have students post their course questions to Edverum's discussion board to minimize the number of redundant questions emailed to me at the beginning of each course. 

I have had technology tools hinder the teaching and learning process. I plan to research the appropriate tools and make sure I am properly trained on the tool to ensure fluidity. 

Collaborative and cooperative learning are very similar; however, cooperative is more structured to enhance student learning in groups. Critical thinking skills can be augmented in problem-based learning groups too. This type of learning will be relevant to the real world issues that help students think in real-time.
