About me

I am a dental assistant that has had many opporunities to expand in my field.  Having a strong background in this industry opened the door to teaching others about the field at a technical college.  Having become an instructor taught me that I had to re-learn the dental field all over in order to become a better teacher to my students.  It has been worth the effort and very rewarding.  Although I had taken many courses in order to remain an instructor, I learned much more from taking the CM201 course.  I highly recommend it to everyone that is involved with any aspect of a teaching facility.

I have learned much from the students as well as from each class. I have learned as everyone that has taught that you never stop learning to become a better teacher. I have also learned that when you do not prepare for each and every class even if you know and are familar with the material. You will run into problems and the students can tell if you are prepared or not. In order to lessen the stress in a class room, as an instructor always prepare for each class. Some classes will need more attention in different area.
I felt that I had a pretty good knowlegde of the information about the Florida Rules & Statutes. After having gone through this course (201). I learned that I still had much to learn about these rules & statutes and how they apply to our institution. I am glad that I took this course and I highly recommend it to anyone that is considering opening or working in an educational institution. There is a wealth of knowledge to be gain in taking this course that will help greatly in every aspect of an educational institution's program.

I feel that with my seasoned background in the dental field as a dental assistant and as a dental instructor at a technical college that I will bring much to the student that will be part of our school.
